Chester Vase Horse Racing Naps – 7 May 2021

Thursday 7 May brings a new day to enjoy yet another fantastic racing line-up. For today’s action, Chester Racecourse is an outstanding destination.

A total of seven races have been scheduled throughout the afternoon, with many fans eager to see Frankie Dettori and Jamie Spencer in action. The going is forecast as good to soft (good in places).

From the schedule, it is the £75,000 15:10 MBNA Chester Vase that is drawing major interest. Sky Sports has provided a couple of solid horse racing naps to help.

In a field of just six horses, Future Empire is the favourite at 11/4. The James Doyle-ridden three-year-old has won and placed three times in its past three races.

Hans Holbein is currently second-favourite at 2/1, based on the fact that it secured a victory in its last race. Meanwhile, Future Empire has not won in four.

Exeter Horse Racings Naps – 5 May 2021

Exeter is where the big-name jockeys can be found today (Tuesday 5 May). Sean Bowen, Noel Fehilly, Richard Johnson, and Tom Scudamore will all battle to steal victory in the opening 17:50 Maiden Hurdle.

Should the weather hold, the going will be good or good to firm in places. As a preview for the race, we look to Sky Sports for their latest horse racing naps of the day.

From the five leading jockeys, it is the Richard Johnson-ridden Sternrubin that has been pegged as favourite at 8/11. However, Sternrubin has not managed to win in its past six races, finishing second on four occasions.

Of course, it must be noted that no other horse from the eight runners comes close on form. In face, Noel Fehily’s Angus Glens has made no recent appearances in Maiden Hurdle events. Perhaps going with the best form of Sternrubin here could work.

Lingfield Park Horse Racing Naps – 1 May 2022

Lingfield Park has today’s best slate of horse races in England. On the first day of May, the English racing schedule is surprisingly quiet. For a helping hand, we are sharing a horse racing nap of the day from Sky Sports. The going will be standard because Lingfield Park has a consistent Polytrack surface.

Race-goers are looking to the high-profile 17:15 Handicap as the most important race of the day, as it features the biggest prize fund at £7,250. Pearl Noir has been earmarked as the most likely prospect to win it at odds of 7/2, but the five-year-old has only won once in its past six races.

At nine years old, Desert Strike is a more mature option compared to the inexperienced Pearl Noir. On recent form, Pearl Noir has won two of its last six races and will yield odds of around 9/2.

Ascot Horse Racing Nap of the Day – 29 April 2022

Mid-June is when Royal Ascot will take place. Before then, however, there are many more races to enjoy at Ascot Racecourse. Today, for instance, there is a particularly enticing race scheduled. Sky Sports has identified a decent prospect for the horse racing nap of the day. The going should be good to firm (firm in places).

The highest profile race of the day is easily the 16:05 Stakes. A total of 13 runners will be competing to win their owners a share of the £80,000 prize fund. From the three-year-old runners, it is Limato that has been picked out as favourite at 6/4.

Those odds are relatively short odds for a field of 13. In fact, the next closest horse is the 5/1 Tendu. Beacon and Strath Burn are next up, with both receiving odds of 8/1. To recap Limato’s record, the Irish horse has been trained to win four victories from four outings by H Candy.

Sandown Park Racing Naps – 25 April 2022

Day two of the bet365 Jump Finale is taking place today at Sandown Park. Spectators at this major event will get to see AP McCoy feature in another of his farewell visits to some of the UK’s most renowned racetracks. Today’s horse racing nap of the day is for the 15:15 AP McCoy Celebration Chase.

AP McCoy is only participating in a couple of races, which is why many punters are looking at him in this one. Ahead of the race, Sky Sports has McCoy pegged as 11/4 favourite on Mr Mole. The seven-year-old gelding has a proven track record from winning 50% of his career races.

This race will feature seven runners, but Mr Mole is not the only eagerly anticipated prospect. Special Tiara is drawing interest at 10/3 and shall be ridden by Noel Fehily. Sprinter Sacre is another interesting horse at 4/1.

Warwick Horse Racing Naps – 23 April 2022

Warwick Racecourse is our destination for today’s free horse racing naps, which come courtesy of Sky Sports. From a condition standpoint, the good weather across much of the means that the going is good in Warwick.

A number of successful trainers have horses competing today, including Jonjo O’Neill, Nicky Henderson, and Paul Bowen. However, it is the horse of trainer Miss Rebecca Curtis that is favoured at 9/2 for the 16:10 National Hunt Flat Race.

The Clonlisk Bug is an Irish five-year-old that will face a challenging outing in a field of 49 runners. Another appealing prospect for the race is the five-year-old Desertmore Hill, and this because the trainer-jockey duo looking after the horse is Paul Bowen and Sean Bowen.

Sky Sports have suggested odds of 6/1 on Desertmore Hill winning the 16:10 today. However, you should consider betting each way, given the 49-strong field of runners.

Ludlow Horse Racing Preview – 21 April 2022

Shropshire is the charming county that is home to Ludlow Racecourse, where a fine selection of trainers and jockeys will gather today (Tuesday 21 April) for another fascinating meet. The condition of the turf surface is expected to be as follows: the going should be good, good to firm in places.

From the seven races, our focus is on the 14:40 Handicap Chase. Sky Sports has identified a couple of interesting horses in today’s racing tips. Guiding George is drawing interest as the 10/3 favourite. The Irish horse is aged seven and is looked after by trainer Dan Skelton and will be ridden by relation Harry Skelton.

Of course, there is no guarantee that Guiding George will win from the field of 11. That is why Aerial looks like an enticing prospect at 5/1, as the talented, young jockey Sam Twiston-Davies rides the horse.

Bath Horse Racing Naps – 17 April 2022

Bath is home to one of the UK’s many spectacular racecourses. Thursday 17 April will mark yet another thrilling slate of races for horse racing fans. Before sharing the latest horse racing naps from Sky Sports, we can tell you that the going will be good to firm, but firm in places.

From the seven races planned for today, it is the £40,000 18:10 Fillies Stakes that will inspire jockeys and trainers. According to the odds, it is the six-year-old Demora that is the clear favourite at 3/1. Of the nine other runners, it is Milly’s Gift that has been identified as second favourite at 7/2.

The next most important race is the 19:45 Fillies Handicap, which will have just six runners competing for a share of the £7,250 prize fund. Heading into the race, it is the four-year-old Palerma that has been earmarked as favourite at 9/4.

Cheltenham Horse Racing Tips – 15 April 2022

Wednesday 15 April marks the final farewell of legendary jockey AP McCoy to Cheltenham, where he has enjoyed fantastic successes over the years. Today’s racing tips from Sky Sports are for this momentous occasion. The going had been forecast as good for this turf course.

McCoy will only be featuring in one race of this two-day event. Only five horses will be racing in the 14:05 Novices Hurdle, so McCoy will have a small field to fight through while riding the 5/2 Boru’s Brook.

A busier field of 11 runners will be competing in the 14:40 Cheltenham Club Handicap Chase. Lots of successful jockeys will be competing, so the odds are more generous for this race.

Financial Climate has been identified as favourite at 9/2, but Loose Chips could be more appealing at 13/2 – that is because Noel Fehily is a former winner of the Championship Hurdle.

Grand National 2015 Racing Tips – 11 April 2022

Today is the day when millions will be treated to another running of the world’s most famous horse race. Time is slowly slipping away ahead of some tough Grand National betting decisions. To help out, we have taken a look at Grand National 2015 horse racing naps courtesy of Sky Sports.

Shutthefrontdoor has been identified as the clear favourite at 7/1, but that is mostly because the jockey-trainer combination of A P McCoy and Jonjo O’Neill are behind the horse.

Rocky Creek and Balthazar King are then level on 9/1, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies and Richard Johnson, respectively. Further behind, though, is the intriguing The Druids Nephew at 14/1, a winner from Cheltenham last month.

The Grand National is incredibly difficult to win on, so betting each way makes the most sense. Punters will be dismayed by another outsider victory like Auroras Encore at 66/1 last year.
